Fantastic weekend at Hotel Derek; ringing in the New Year 80s style priceless; employees so attentive and each so kind; room very comfy; can't wait to return during Super Bowl festivities -
We attended the NYE 80's party and stayed over night. The party was a lot of fun and accommodating! The room was nice and comfortable but we could hear the guests next door while they had visitors. They had three elevators one of which was not working and the other two were not capable of handling the large volume of guests. We waited 25 minutes for an elevator and couldn't get in because it was already full of people so we had to go down 6 flights of stairs because the other elevator never opened even after 15 more minutes.... read more
When I'm in Houston and Not Staying with the Family... Nice Place to Enjoy myself and Friends for a Couple Days
I would have given them five stars but not impressed with the parking. $25 after tax per night is ridiculous.
Great Hotel. It's our second year to attend a Christmas Party and book a room for the night. Great Fun!
