Nice clean hotel right off the interstate among several gas stations and fast food. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was large and clean with soft comfortable beds. Loved the large vanity in the bathroom. The lobby is set up nicely with comfortable seating and large breakfast area for continental selections plus pancakes and biscuits with sausage gravy, yum.
Great staff, and I was greeted by the General Manager when I checked in.Since I'm a Gold member they upgraded me to a corner room. I was impressed with all the customer service I received, and will be staying there again in the future.
Looked up this hotel while on road trip. Called and got a great rate. Nice place, right off interstate. Parking area was well-lit. Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean and spacious. Appreciated the large counter in bathroom. The breakfast was nice and featured a few hot items and the usual other items, plus yummy cinnamon rolls. My kids loved the pancake machine :) Hotel was running special that allowed you to have your checkout moved back to noon for free, if you wanted. Checkout was easy. This hotel is new and not on some web sites. It just opened a few months ago and it was beautiful. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. A full-service restaurant is in the lobby and the food there was good. I stayed 10 nights for work and while I was there, some soldiers from Ft. Hood had a large going-away party on a Friday night.Even with several hundred people in the place, it was quiet. It is the best Holiday Inn I have visited and you could eat off the floor. I have no complaints in any way. The staff was wonderful too.
I couldn't afford a weekend getaway at a hotel resort in Dubai - of course not - naturally. So I had to search for hotel within my own specified radius (AND spending range) that would allow me to get as close to Dubai as I possibly could. And this 3 star hotel was the best this specific area could offer... Overall I was totally satisfied with my time spent at the Holiday Inn. No complaints. The bathroom layout is AWESoME. Just wish they'd hang curtains in the room's window to block an outside view..
I was very nervous about picking a hotel in Killeen, since the town is so small; I was visiting because my boyfriend is stationed at Ft. Hood, so we needed something close enough to the base but not too far from everything else.
Nice newer upscale Holiday Inn. This level used to be called 'Select' and is one step below 'Crowne Plaza.' Spacious lobby with restaurant and bar. Rooms are large and comfortable with upscale bedding. Flat LCD television. All in all, a great hotel and my favorite spot in Killeen.
The room was beautiful as well. It was so nice, I was really very surprised! I wasn't expecting so much! I honestly did not feel as if I was staying at a Holiday Inn. The room was so spacious and the bed was so comfortable.
My boyfriend and I intend on staying at this hotel every time I come to visit until he moves off post.
