I couldn't afford a weekend getaway at a hotel resort in Dubai - of course not - naturally. So I had to search for hotel within my own specified radius (AND spending range) that would allow me to get as close to Dubai as I possibly could. And this 3 star hotel was the best this specific area could offer... Overall I was totally satisfied with my time spent at the Holiday Inn. No complaints. The bathroom layout is AWESoME. Just wish they'd hang curtains in the room's window to block an outside view..
I was very nervous about picking a hotel in Killeen, since the town is so small; I was visiting because my boyfriend is stationed at Ft. Hood, so we needed something close enough to the base but not too far from everything else.
Nice newer upscale Holiday Inn. This level used to be called 'Select' and is one step below 'Crowne Plaza.' Spacious lobby with restaurant and bar. Rooms are large and comfortable with upscale bedding. Flat LCD television. All in all, a great hotel and my favorite spot in Killeen.
The room was beautiful as well. It was so nice, I was really very surprised! I wasn't expecting so much! I honestly did not feel as if I was staying at a Holiday Inn. The room was so spacious and the bed was so comfortable.
My boyfriend and I intend on staying at this hotel every time I come to visit until he moves off post.
The front lobby was really well maintained; it was contemporary but not too stuffy. They had holiday decorations up, since I was there right before Christmas, so that was a nice as well. The people at the front desk were so friendly. I never felt nervous or awkward asking any questions.
After much research [I was originally going to pick the new Hilton Garden Inn, but there is construction going on making it difficult to get to] I picked the Holiday Inn and am so pleased I did!
Great location, close to grocery store and restaurants, great pool area with nice cabana type rooms, well lit secluded parking, great breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfy. We would definitely stay here again.
This is hands down the greatest hotel I have ever stayed at! Not only were the rooms clean, spacious, and comfortable but the employees were amazing. This hotel has a shuttle that brings you anywhere within a 6 mile radius. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and used the shuttle everyday more than twice. The staff was always so friendly and never once seemed annoyed at how often we requested the shuttle. I could go on and on. I was so impressed with this hotel!
