We had family trip to universal studio.My husband сhose the hotel because it’s close to universal studio and he is platinum member. Very disappointing. Room 524 was very dirty when we checked in, we found hairbrush in the safe full of hair: Beds was dirty. We called several times to the reception to change the beds, as soon as possible. My child fell sleep in my lap. One hour until housekeeping arrived, no apologies ,came in the room made the beds and left with out saying a word. Never stay again and not recommended.

**Update- After leaving this review, I was contacted by management. Karen resolved my issue with courtesy and professionally. Thank you for reaching out and fixing the issue. Though I will say it should not take someone to go to this extreme to get proper attention.** I haven't even stayed yet, but now looking at these reviews I can understand why this hotel feels the need to keep someone's money unnecessarily. I booked this hotel as a "secret" deal on Hotwire and as i always am was a little nervous about the hotel since we have had some really good hotels and some that are crap and clearly rated incorrectly. We stayed 3 nights for My Daughter's Birthday. The location was awesome. Room was big and clean. The elevators took a long time but there is like 10 floors to this hotel. We loved that there was a restraunt directly attached to the hotel that we were able to go eat at after the parks. We will gladly stay here again.

This hotel was a major disappointment. Our first room had a musty odor in it. Our 2 room, you had to constantly ask housekeeping for towels, my room hasn't been cleaned for 2 days, I literally handed them my garbage to change, and when i told them my room wasn't cleaned they said they didn't speak english. I was bit by a bed bug and was told that some one would be contacting me. And i haven't been contacted since I left May 27th. The front desk staff so far have been nice. However when we got to our room it looked as if somebody was still staying in the room with towels on the floor, a kids watch in the fridge, and the leather on the headboard was all torn up. But as I said the front desk staff have been good and immediately put us in another room which is by far better then our first room.

Pretty great experience. A free upgrade from standard to suite helped. We didn’t even ask for it, but it improved everything. The staff was ultimately polite and the hotel was nice and clean. I highly recommend.
