Would give 5 stars, but was offered upgrade (for a prices increase-seems to be a thing here at this hotel). Went to my room, and upon opening the door I was met with the smell of weed and a messy bed with clothes in closet and chair. Turns out I was rented a room that was occupied!?!?! WTF Hilton how does this happen? Aren't your rooms blocked out once rented? Issue was resolved after visiting front desk again and waiting another 10 minutes to speak with front desk. In need of a drastic overhaul, outdated, rooms are tiny and are dated. In a deprived area of San Fran. This is the second Hilton hotel I’ve stayed in with similar problems, I won’t be staying in a Hilton again.

Very happy with my stay! Especially with Tulio from Guatemala from the gym. He is very attentive and friendly!
Centrally located
We booked Junior Suite with 2 double beds, arrived at midnight only to find only 1 double made up. The experience was only saved by Stella on the front desk who advised me this was the situation on check in and she jumped into action getting house keeping to run up and sort out the room, but all other staff not really interested in guests!! Disappointed
