First night of stay and absolutely shocking service. On our Honeymoon and they asked us to consider moving from the King room we booked and paid for already to two queens after waiting over an hour for check in.

Nice place, great location the only real downer is the price of food on the property. $48 for a pretty standard breakfast buffet is outrageous. My suggestion is to go off the property as there are a lot of great dining options close by.
Lousy customer services for not allowing guest to check in early after a long flight. They claimed the rooms are not ready but if we upgrade and pay more, there are rooms.

Schlechtestes Hilton in dem ich je war. Lange Schlangen am Check In. Selbst als Hhonors Member stand man ewig, teilweise sogar länger. Mitarbeiter an Rezeption nicht freundlich. Rechnung am Ende wurde mit Sachen belastet die inklusive waren (Frühstück für Gold Member - das an sich war schon fast eine Frechheit - 1 Getränk, 1 süßes Teilchen und 1 Obst). Am Abreisetag um 8.30 Uhr vom House Keeping geweckt. Usw.....
I always stay at Hilton Union square on thanksgiving. I love the service and staff is always great. But.....over the last few years during the remodel the lobby is not decorated appropriately for the holidays. It's very minimal and looks like absolutely NO effort went into decoration. I used to experience such a joyful holiday feeling when I arrived on thanksgiving weekend and always used to get a kick start into the holidays from your holiday style.
