Nothing great to brag about. The lobby felt like a club when you enter. The service at registration was poor and insincere. The room was nice but no water bottle to be seen! No room service without a take out bag and takeout food. Breakfast that I paid for with the room was only 1 juice, 1 piece of fruit and a pastry .... and that was continental breakfast. Would I come back here? No.
Great location, rooms have been updated and are decent size.
Was here for a conference... floor layout makes zero sense, as if an insect or cephalopod designed this place. Rooms are super expensive, although not incomparable to others in the area. Parking is 70 dollars a day. There's a good restaurant here at least though.

In Hilton SF since Saturday. Came back from Alcatraz trip today Monday at 7pm to find we're locked out of our room. Went 2 reception & We're told it was due to valet parking not being cleared for payment on our credit card. When I challenged that they never requested it to be paid when we arrived & that it is normally paid on departure - Roel the manager said our room cards had become invalid going in & out of shopping centres - contradicting himself. After an hour wait to register for my room that I book last summer I was told that I would have to wait for a room - at least another hour or I could "upgrade" for $40 additional each night of my stay. This was not acceptable, but after a two hour flight delay to San Francisco and then an hour standing in line pushing my suitcase along, I agreed.
