In the seven years I have had this “insurance “ I have tried using it three times 2 office visits and I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed. All of which I payed out of pocket. So please tell me why I pay every week for a service that I don’t receive. Isn’t that insurance fraud??

Highmark is a horrible company. Every time they changed their explanation why my service has a copay after I file a complaint and appeal. My benefit booklet states” 100% covered after deductible”. Highmark tried to deceive me. This company needs legal action! I will file my case with PA Attorney General.
They refuse to cover my daughter’s severe lip tie because “it’s not in their policy”. I had to cancel her surgery for her lip tie that the ENT scheduled because they will not pay!
Have a better understanding of Lymphedema and necessity of continued therapy treatment. It is not general PT. Stopping treatment as 'unnecessary' only results in hospitalization six weeks later for sepsis and cellulitis. What would you rather pay for a week of hospitalization and IVs or continued therapy??
Complete runaround from customer service. Any excuse to avoid responsibility for coverage. Stay far, far away!!!!
WORST!!! They are denying paying for my son a medication that his doctor has repeatedly stated he needs. Apparently, saving a dollar is more important than a child.....
Absolute worst care!!! We sat in our primary care office for a emergency visit and our insurance advised us they wouldn’t pay for visit at primary care and advised us to go to Med express, in turn delaying our care by hours!!! Now took 6 weeks to get authorization for a cardiac stress test w symptoms of chest pain and shortness of breath. Finally got test which was abnormal and now waiting a week for authorization for cardiac catherization... totally unacceptable and delaying my health care and well being!!!we will definitel... read more
