Very unorganized and unprofessional. Service is extremely poor which is usually a direct result of how employees are treated. It neigh impossible to get help with ANYTHING. Locations don't answer the phone. I've even experienced where there was absolutely no one at the counter for a while 2 hours, leaving a massive line of customers waiting to receive a vehicle they reserved. As a "5 star" member, I am extremely disappointed

I suffered and unauthorized charge by Hertz Car Rental for additional insurance. I wrote a letter to Paul *****, Hertz CEO which went unanswered. Please find a copy of my email which I sent on May 7, 2021. I am writing to you as a Hertz Gold Member (Hertz Gold # ) which I've been a member of since 2016. I am writing because I went through the worst experience I have ever gone through renting a car from you at the Cancun airport. As an American company I thought to try you since last time I had mex car and had something similar happen but even then not as bad. It is known that the sale techniques at that particular airport are ruthless and misleading but I thought this time I would get only what I needing know that I only need credit card care through Amex. My reservation Notification: J******9641 - My Hertz Reservation @ Fri Apr 30, 2021 11am - 12pm (EDT) at the Stone Mountain GA location. I would NEVER recommend to get a car from them as they charged me for a day that I didn't have the car and because I prepaid to ensure I had a rental and now they are saying that I can't get my money because of that. A RIPOFF. Rent elsewhere. Not to mention the hassle of getting someone who wants to help you.

Stranded in Shreveport after being involved in an auto accident due to no fault of my own. I purchase auto insurance to cover the rental car that did not do any good. Poor customer service at the Hertz Rental Car counter at the Shreveport Airport and at a satellite Hertz rental car office. We ended up having to purchase airline tickets to get back home. Poor customer service at Hertz I would not suggest anyone use them especially a person of color.

I made an appointment with Hertz Rental Company to be picked up at a specific time from the repair shop. But when I arrived at the designated location ahead of time I was informed that the transporter had already come and left about 30 minutes ago. The clerk at the pickup location called Hertz and explained that I arrived shortly before the agreed upon time. BEWARE! DEMAND to see your contract and be fully explained the charges before agreeing to anything. and expect that you will still likely be swindled Like many others in these comments, I made my reservation including a collision damage plan through a 3rd party site (Expedia) which I paid $272 for and was expecting to pay $113 at the counter upon my rental pickup. Took over an hour to pick out our car & we were double charged for the vehicle. OVER $1,700 for 4 days on a minivan. When I called they would NOT refund my money. DO NOT RENT From HERTZ.
