I rented a car with Hertz for 3 days and dropped the car off at one of their drop off locations. I returned back to Boston and i was still being charged. I called and they tell me the car hadn't been dropped off. i continue to tell them exactly where I dropped the car off. another week goes by and i am still being charged, 3 weeks still. during these 3 weeks i am being charged almost $11,000!!!!! I rented a car from the Hertz in Las Vegas and confirmed I was dropping it off in Auburn, California. When I arrived in Auburn, I found the Hertz there was closed for business. I was told by customer service at Hertz that was where I was to drop off the car. After a 10 hour drive, I was then forced to drive another hour out of my way to Roseville to drop off the car. After trying to rent a car from hertz find out I had $150 toll due from years ago and I made the payment in full right there because they put me on a DNR list. Month later still trying to rent from different companies it's impossible because my name still in the list I was traveling to California I had to walk blocks to find another location like enterprise sixt, I was on hold 3x for over an ht then got disconnected Just to remove my name

I would give negative stars if possible! We picked up a car on Saturday from the Kissimmee, Florida (vine st) location and have had a horrible experience. Not only were there 5 people in there to rent cars but their were 2 people working in this location and one guy just sat there and did nothing while the other guy had to help everyone including answering the phone. Then we got a car that was completely filthy, trash in the trunk, trash in the seat pockets, crumbs everywhere, torn carpet, not even wiped down inside. It look... read more

Zero stars if I could. A bankrupt Hertz is just desserts. I made the reservation *********** on April 18, 2021 for a rate of $215 for 2 days. When I opened the Hertz iPhone app on Sunday to prepare for the rental, an offer popped up to upgrade the car to a full size sedan for a "total of $5.60" more. That sounded like a good offer so I clicked yes on the app. Then I was charged another $198!!! That is insane! So I called customer support. The first agent put me on hold for 30 minutes. Rented a car online and paid in full about a month prior to the rental. Showed up to the airport and went to the counter. The woman at the counter was elderly, therefore I gave her some slack, but continuously mumbled everything that she said. I could honestly only hear about 1 of 5 words she said to me. Never do business with them. I n February I reserved a car for 10 days on Maui in May. A week ago, after hearing about rental car shortages, I decided to confirm my confirmed reservation. When I called they said " We have your confirmed reservation, but there is no car". When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told no manager was on site.
