They left me stranded in NC with no gas, ( it was during the gas shortage). 24/7 roadside assistance did not help me as I could not get ahold of them. 3 of us called multiple numbers and was not able to get through. I dropped the car off during the 48 hour time period and they charged me 155 for having it for an extra day. We reserved a minivan to travel for our wedding. Upon getting to the location, the service gentleman was very rude from the very beginning. They pulled a Toyota Sienna around and it was beat up! Looked terrible and once we opened the door, looked like a soda bottle blew up inside. Found what appeared to be a melted caramel treat stuck on the interior of the center console. Nothing good, all bad. Will never rent from Hertz and likely never from Priceline again. Even today, two days after I returned the car, they have two holds on my credit card for $100 each. Dumb as **** and shows no regard for the customer. Sad that Priceline even has them as a vendor. The car the put me in looked like a clown car, it was so small and the back was dirty with receipts and not even vacuumed, Terrible. No excuse. On 04/23/2021 I rented a car at Hertz. It was previously reserved using Expedia. I had rented a cr at Hertz previously and usually they had a good service. However it seems after recent hard times they are trying to rob they customers. When I reserved a car at Expedia the expected price was $205 for 2 nights. However later they charged me $395. Terrible service by supervisorCancelling Hertz corporate account! Monday May 31, 2021 Supervisor is not customer friendly, in the remotest way!! We are Gold level 30 weeks per year business travellers! Needed to replace an Infinity Q SUV from a DC rental at Akron Canton Airport! It's a corporate location, not a franchise. Hertz doesn't know the meaning of Customer Appreciation! I have been a long term loyal customer of Hertz both for business and personal travel. I have been notified that due to 18 months of no activity Hertz is cancelling all of my loyalty points. I pleaded my case that for 15 months of the 18 months they referred to, we have had travel restrictions due to the Global Pandemic. There has been no travel! I rented a car from Hertz in Clayton MO Friday May 28 and it was due to be returned yesterday Sunday May 30, when I got there they were closed. When I picked the car up they did not provide any after hours info or tell me they would be closed on Sunday. There are only 2 parking spaces to leave cars for an after hours return & they were occupied. If I could give negative stars I would!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HERTZ AT ALL!!! THEY ARE THE WORST AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! The day I had to return my rental, it broke down. Which I understand, things happen. But the lack of customer service and communication that followed was the worst. I needed the car towed and the local Hertz wouldn't do anything except tell me to call roadside assistance, so I did. HOW IRONIC. I recently received an email from HERTZ stating that they are focused on customer service now more than EVER. How ironic I thought to myself. I was never refunded almost $200 back in 2019. I paid for a rental twice with two different cards. Customer Service SCREWED ME OVER!!! It was a long run around process that I was NEVER refunded my money. I had been loyal faithful customer for over 15yrs. It's been really really hard to rent from you since.
