Horrible experience with the following Hertz location (booked via Expedia): 2143 Cobb Pkwy NW Kennesaw, GA 30152 I completed my reservation and received full confirmation of the vehicle necessary for our 2-day, 7-person vacation. Upon arrival at Hertz to pick up my reserved vehicle, I was told that my vehicle was not available. Well, I would have hoped my review would help other people who consider renting from Hertz steer clear, but it seems I'm one of many who are saying very similar things. ********** I am writing to share the worst ever experience from start to finish with my Hertz rental that started on June 8th. Picked up the Ram Cargo van in Mission Viejo, CA and the van was filthy from top to bottom. The rep Lisa said they didn't have to clean it. I asked politely to have the windshield cleaned as it was so dirty with bugs you could not see through it. I waited until a helper was available to clean it. I attempted to reserve a car for my mother and father when their broke down. They were in ******* ** at the time and the nearest available car we could find was near me in ******** ** at Hertz Car Rental on **************. Now I am not attaching any blame at all to the people working at the location. All this blame falls squarely on the corporate level of Hertz. Even though I was able to reserve a car for them, when my mother and father arrived (with my sisters help) they were told that there were no cars available for rent.... read more

I reserved a minivan for our family, as we need all that space. Last night before beginning of the rental lady from Hertz called, and said they dont have a car for me. I told we absolutely need a car (and a large one) as we have flight leaving, and we need to drive 1000 miles to get to the airport. Domestic flight was not possible because of airlines not accepting dog in gargo. Then I received a new call from her to learn they have a car for me. Buyer Beware. NEVER use Hertz with your Southwest Rapid Rewards points. They are CROOKS. They didn't have the car available I needed, i was charged $400+, they kept my points AND charged me money. Crooked and deceptive business practices. Horrible businesses.

My wife reserved a car for this week namely starting 6-15 through 6-21 under the booking reference: *********** as our truck had be taken to the dealership for repair work and we have people in town, namely my father for Father's Day week as we were going to visit some memorials as we are all veterans and he may not be with us much longer but then she was called by your company and told that there would be no cars available as there was a waiting list. which doesn't make sense if your company keeps advertising on all the tra... read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER..45 min on hold before someone picked up...Talked to me for 1 minute to get information...now still on hold for another 2 1/2 hours... Really....This is all due to their mistake..
