This rental car company lacks business sense and customer relations knowledge. Made a reservation, called to confirm the reservation a week before pickup, the manager assured me that everything was fine. On the day of pickup I was told that there was no vehicle to rent, as the staff "cannot just make a car out of thin air." Not only this company showed disregard to customer needs, but the staff at OKC location (including the airport, NW Expressway, and Norman) boldly lied about how their reservation system is not synced with... read more

I've rented from Hertz for 35 years. They used to be great. Now it is awful. Hours of waiting to speak to a representative, unclean cars with mechanical issues, and no response to complaints. I gave them two chances. This is the third. I'm out!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I want to let Colorado know what has been happening to my family. Our son will be attending US Air Force Academy and we arrive June 22nd. We also have plans to attend Parent Weekend which occurs over Labor Day Weekend. We made our car reservations for June on April 26th in COS. The cost we were quoted for June 22-25th was $213.58 which we agreed to pay. They sent us an email to confirm the amount. Fast forward to June 1st. I'm sitting outside the Glendale Hertz without a car because they could not be bothered contacting me about the cancelation. I made reservations days prior knowing I had car repairs. I've been on hold for 45 mins with zero help. I have work and no way to get there. No solutions offered to assist me in my time of need.

I booked 7 day rental with Price with total due at pickup counter of $329.89 however I was billed $360.89. I didnt add any extras or services. Also 2nd day of rental all tires showed low air pressure. Talked to Hertz rep at drop off booth and she was useless and could care less. Reached out to Priceline and they refused to honor the price I booked rental for. Don't book with Priceline, Hertz or their other companies Dollar and Thrifty. They are thieves and liars.

I stay in Shreveport, LA I reserved my car in advance months in advance to be exact upon arrival I was asked did I I have a reservation. The night before I looked my reservation up it was there. The manager was very rude an racist this my second time at this location that my car got canceled an he swear I did it. Three other woman walked in behind me an their reservation wasn't there but they gave them a car an not me. So i asked how come I can't get a car an my reservation was in febb. I Like to make a formal complaint, I have to rent a Vehicle through my Insurance due a Vandalism occurrence on my Vehicle, with that said. I was referred to a Hertz. Bad choice. After the vehicle was repaired. I have being trying for week to give back the rental, lots of run around, different locations and no one could accommodate to take me back home, bu HERTZ said I have to find my way home. LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS! Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had. They charged me for insurance though I declined. Even went in person for them to take it off and they said there's nothing they could do and gave me a "special" number to call. After waiting on hold multiple times, was told once again there is nothing they can do. Complete scam!!! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

Arrived late into Philadelphia due to a delayed flight. Arriving around 23:30 Saturday May 29th. Hertz had my flight information so they should have known the flight was late. We waited 45 minutes at the pickup area to take a bus to the rental center but none ever came. Finally the fourth time an Avis bus came by I asked the driver if they had cars available and was told they did.
