I had a terrible experience at the Rucker Location in Everett, Washington. I had a reservation through State Farm Insurance. They had no information of it. The Male Employee was rude and not helpful at all. There were two other customer's there at the same time that were also complaining about the worker. He did not explain the rental fee's or requirements. I ended up leaving and renting a car from Enterprise who went above and beyond helping get me into a car with short notice. I rented a car and during the course if my trip i called to see if could change drop off location. They told me there would be a 10 dollar fee. When I asked if there would be any other they said no. Then in my bill I recieved a 500 dollar charge for return at a different location.in otherwise I was told there would be no additional fees. Hertz wants you to prepay for a car they don't have. Here is what I wrote Hertz: I made a reservation online today and received a confirmation that the car could be picked up at .... Location. When I got there I was told they do not do same day service and would not provide me with a car because they were sold out. Then they would not cancel my reservation, I was told I have to call. Reserved a car online. Waited in line an hour past my reservation time and to finish we waited another 45 mins after getting our ticket to get a car brought to us.

Hertz is laughably sketchy and awful. I've rented from them twice in the last year and this 2nd time was the last. They are insanely disorganized and then they find ways to dishonestly tack on additional charges to your bill. When I tried contesting the fees by calling the location I rented from, they never called me back even though they said they would. That happened twice. I will NEVER use Hertz, again, to rent anything. I reserved a cargo van about a week before needing it to transport some things over 300 miles. I suddenly received a call from Hertz about 16 hours prior to my trip that they would NOT be able to supply a van. This left me in VERY awkward situation and the possibility of canceling my trip. Thankfully, ****** had one available, but it costs me almost 2 times because of the lateness of my reservation.

The website says that it can not find my upcoming reservation, the app shows that I do have one but will not let me view, modify, or cancel. I had to call to confirm my upcoming rental, it took me an hour to get a hold of someone just to confirm. This was a week ago and the app and website are still not working properly for existing reservations. Now I'm curious to see if I will actually have a car when I get Florida and if I do have one if it will be the luxury suv I booked months ago.

I made a reservation and received confirmation for a car to be picked up at the King County airport (BFI) for a total of 5 days starting June 21, 2021. The Hertz office at King County Airport (BFI) near Seattle called yesterday to tell me they had dramatically overbooked their available cars, apparently on purpose, at the direction of the local office manager. Beware!!!! Very very unprofessional and rude!! I had a reservation booked for 2 weeks for a pick up truck. Day of pick up went to Hertz at 10:45 am in Pawleys Island and was told there was no truck available. There would be however a Jeep Wrangler and a Dodge Charger coming in later. They said they were waiting for the cars to be returned. I asked if i was going to get something and She told me "Yes we are just waiting for returns to come in".
