Booked Hertz rental through ***** and believe our rental was from Raleigh/Durham Airport location. Mind you, we have 4 children 5 years old and under who are waiting for us to get the rental cars. Got to location and was told by a lady at the counter at the rental location ours location was 5 minutes away and that we would have to go back to airport and take a taxi to this location. Attempted to purchase a car from hertz. Once financing was approved they changed the price of the auto by $7000. They promised this would not happen, and the exact opposite happened. Terrible organization, terrible people. Stay far away. There is a reason they are in bankruptcy. Caveat emptor.

I was robbed out 400 of my hard earned money from hertz because I put cologne on inside there car wow I'm never renting a car from hertz the worst customer service ever at the Baton Rouge airport location everyone that works there should be fired

I rented a car to return from Martinsburg West Virginia to Paducah KY, with a one night stopover in Ironton OH on April 17th 2021. First, the car I was supposed to have reserved would have been a mid sized sedan. I wound up being a Nissan Sentra, entirely too small a car for a 300 lb man to drive any distance. But as I picked it up on a Saturday their was nothing I could do so I accepted the car. 100 miles out of WV the dash lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights. Bait and Switch Beware! I have over 3,000 points with Hertz. I called to make a 3 day car reservation using my points for all 3 days and they said it would cost me 2100 points plus takes and fees of $31.08. This was fine and they sent me an email stating the same thing. I picked up the car using Gold member express and they asked for my ID and credit card. I picked up the vehicle and it wasn't cleaned properly but it wasn't atrocious. I returned my vehicle half full after renting and was charged 167 dollars after I returned. I call to find out why and they charged me 10 dollars per gallon! Where I live that's about 4 times the amount for gas. That is ridiculous. Do not rent from them and if you do just make sure the car is full before returning it or you'll be charged a ridiculous amount compared to what the gas price is!!!

Horrible customer service. They took my payment prepaid and refused to rent to me to when I went to pick it up, and now they won't give me my money back for the entire rental, staying its not showing the right process in their system. They don't hold up their end of contract. Rent anywhere else but here. Good luck finding anyone who speaks English, and who can truly help

I picked up my vehicle in TN, i drove back to RI and got back early. I called Hertz to inform them i was dropping the vehicle off earlier than expected, the lady was confused and said the building had been closed for over a year. The building not even there any longer. I called hertz customer service and they were able to give me another location to drop off.
