First, I APOLOGIZE for my wife's language, before she walked out. My wife set up reservations (which was very disorganized). She had to call back to get a confirmation number. They told her the rate, and said to be there by 11:30am today, because they closed then. She called this morning to confirm, they had a suv, and we were headed that way (office on Madison Blvd), stated it would be there before 11:30. They are the WORST rental car company in the USA! I reserved a rental just the small economy vehicle 5 days in advance for a week and got a reservation number put in my card information to "pay for it now" and supposedly save money that way. However the day of my reservation I called to confirm before going to pick up the car seeing as the money wasn't taken out of my account 5 days prior like it was supposed to have been and they tell me I can't get a car there is none available and they couldn't tell me why it would allow ... read more
NO customer service. The car died an hour after picked up. Hertz did NOTHING to help the situation. We PAID for Lyft to bring us back to the airport and were not even reimbursed for that. Hertz has been completely unresponsive.
After my daughter reserved a car a month before arriving she got to the airport at 1:00 am and was told they had no more cars available. She would have to wait around for 3 to 4 hours until they got more cars Or take an Uber to Naples and come back to Fort Myers airport the following day I have tried to contact customer service via phone and they told me that wasn't their department I needed to contact customer car. Reserved a van a month ago in March 2022 for pick up on April 19, 2022 at the Hertz location on Miles Rd in Bedford Hts Ohio. Already paid for it online .. when I came at 9am to pick it up the office attendant said none were available and made no attempt to contact me prior or assist in finding another van/truck at another Hertz location. I was moving and needed a van asap .. she told me to go to UHaul .. so I did and got a truck an hour later. What a rip-off! Do NOT use this company. We rented a car from them for a business trip. It took us two hours to finally find an attendant at the Nashville airport and pushed our reservation up one day, from 4/2 to 4/3. We returned it at 6:45 AM which was the day following our reservation date. That gave them reason to change the reservation charges for daily rates 100% ! They would not work with me at all and just said it was company policy. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!
DO NOT GET A RENRAK FROM MCO AIRPORT IN ORLANDO FLORIDA! I had already pre ordered on line. When I first got there a lady attuide was so UNPROFESSIONAL! I asked for a manager who seem to apologize for his employer behavior and continued with the check out. As I pulled out of the airport to get on the highway with my family in the truck. After pre-paying for a car rental for our coach for an out of town meet, the car died after reaching his first destination from the airport (William P Hobby in Houston, TX). He was then told to buy a battery for the car to see if that helped! For their own car! He did not do this. They refused to send a replacement car, told him to use Lyft and he would be reimbursed. I booked a car through hertz website. The branch was closed the time of picking.up the car (changed working hours). The day before I received an email to confirm pick up time and place. The booking was cancelled by hertz. I called customer services on Saturday and I tried to.pick up a car from another branch, but could not do it with out a new booking an extra $250.
