RecommendedPaid for a $100k+ surgery in 2008-2011. Very impressed. However, not always improving with who I get on the phone when I call. There’s a gal there that I don’t communicate well with and I always get her.

The worst we have ever experience .. pulled the approval on a surgery to repair a TORN ligament .. cause they say that physical therapy will do it?? Seriously!! How is this right!! How is an insurance company more knowledgeable than doctors!! SHAME ON YOU!

My 90 year old mother was denied skilled nursing rehab because of an incorrect report from physical therapist after hip surgery in September 2019. Report was clarified and doctors even tried to get HA to reconsider but they refused. Would only agree to in-home help. Found a rehab facility that we had to pay for room and board and HA would only pay for 12 sessions of PT. Keep in mind she’s 90 and needed help getting in/out of bed and using the toilet after the surgery. All appeals exhausted. Now we have to find help for her a... read more
