My mother went to the ER, crying in excruciating pain and they basically dismissed her! Her ankle is swollen, red, etc and all they did was give her some over the counter bs! This was a few days ago and she’s still in so much pain, she’s about to amputate her own leg. I’ve told her to not pay them one cent and to file a complaint. Idk which Dr she saw, but whomever it was should not be in the medical field!!

Paramedics rushed my mom to ER this morning at 9AM. I get there around 10:15. She is in the hallway and is not wearing a MASK!!!! She is 94!! We’re in the middle of a pandemic! I asked her if she took it off- she said no- I didn’t get one!! I looked to see if there was one in the bed-Nope! I asked a nurse who was standing in the doorway of another patient if she could get her a mask... She said, okay. 5 mins later, nothing, so I went to the ER desk and demanded they give her a mask!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

RecommendedGreat doctors and staff. I could not have asked for better treatment.
RecommendedI have been to Parkland several times and have always received quality care. Most recently I went to the ER having no idea what was wrong, but knew something was seriously wrong. The doctors and nurses worked quickly to determine the problem and had me well enough to come home after a few days. The costs are outrageous, but that seems to be all hospitals. The billing department isn't great. I recommend them solely on the care that has been provided to me by the doctors, nurses and staff.
