I brought my not even 3 year old Pathfinder with 29000 miles on it, in to check brakes that were whistling. I was given the most outrageous quote I had ever gotten. I have been a Nissan lease customer for many years now and have never been told that I needed new rotors, and new front and back brakes totaling over $700. I took my keys and went to a local mechanic and mentioned nothing about having just been to Nissan. The mechanic checked my brakes, came out and said, you need back brake pads.
