The very basic accommodations are clean and comfortable. The hotel welcomes group reservations. The suites are great for families.

Huge room for the money.
The man at reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Very helpful staff. Great location to all of the sights. Great parking deal compared to other hotels in same area.
On a budget?, business trip, need quick access to all your events and destinations in Washington D.C. then the Harrington offers everything you need. As a travel photographer I need to get in and out to my assignments with no hassles and wasted time. Staff is very helpful and know how to get me where I need to be. My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Harrington in mid-November. We liked it a lot. True, it is old, but that adds to it's charm. We were in a Queen room. It was small, but nice. There was a small fridge as well. The location was excellent. My husband and I walked everywhere, to the monuments, White House, and several of the Smithsonian Museums. The location of the property was close to a lot of historical sites.
Like many others here, i enjoyed my stay at the hotel with a group. It has been said here many times, and it is true, the location of this hotel is outstanding... Can't be beat... The atmosphere in the hotel is lively, due to the diner and bar on site for those looking to have a good time, yet relaxing and quiet for those winding down at the end of a day of business or sightseeing. The hotel is located just around 100m from pennsylvania avenue, 5 mins walk to the smithsonian. Once you stay in this hotel, you wont need your car or anything else, everything just within walking distance.
