The very basic accommodations are clean and comfortable. The hotel welcomes group reservations. The suites are great for families.

Clean, close to everything & comfortable. The front desk was extremely nice and helpful. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. We will stay here again. The hotel restaurant has huge portions, next time we will split a breakfast.
Front desk and bell staff extremely friendly and helpful
This hotel was a bit dated, but it was clean. The best thing about it is the location. It is walking distance to the National Mall and other sites. There is also a major Metro station within walking distance. The price was great and wifi worked.
Loved the staff, it was central to everything, room was comfortable-price was reasonable. Hotel is 100 years old but well kept- loved the pictures of Presidents on the wall. Would certainly recommend it and stay there again.
The staff are very nice and friendly...The place is perfect spot tor our DC, it's at the center of everything...I don't care about anything else as long as I have a bed to sleep and the staff are accommodating..100 thumbs up guys!
This is a very old but modest hotel location is excellent, walking easily got to the museum area to the White House and monuments, subway stations and two blocks in the corner passing buses. The hotel price is worth it. If you want to save this is the hotel for you.
Took the kids to DC for some sightseeing. Didn't want to take the metro everywhere so I read about this hotel which is the closest to the museums. Indeed it was!
This is a tourist-class hotel is in a very good location, within walking distance to a metro station and to many popular sights. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and were able to answer all my queries. There is a family atmosphere. It is very good value for money, given the location.
