The very basic accommodations are clean and comfortable. The hotel welcomes group reservations. The suites are great for families.

We stop there with my travel group, and we share a room for four, and it was great. We had 2 baht room with toilet, and it was not to Noisy. It's a simple hotel, not very Young but well if you go to Washington it's not for staying in your bed room anyway! The location is just perfect. few minutes from white house and all the district. We had very good time. Will recommend with no doubt. One of my friend go back there , it's mean it's a good one.
The main advantage of this hotel is its location in the heart of Washington, halfway between the Capitol and the White House, near the metro and the Mall. Most of the monuments and historical sites are visitable on foot. The hotel also has the great advantage Having proper one of the few bars / restaurants that drives cool downtown at night when offices were emptied. The very positive experience at this hotel in regards to service, its staff, its good location. Parking out and payment. The room well with window to the street. It's an old hotel remodeled. It is quite close to the White House. Good choice unpretentious.
Hotel Harrington will be a memorable experience for a long time to come. It is exactly as advertised, "100 years old," this year. Everywhere you look you see history. From the mailbox to the room venting, electrical conduit, and plates that must be covering the initial gas lighting in the rooms...the place left me wondering exactly where we were in our everyday lives back in 1914. It is a good clean hotel at a reasonable price. We got a family room with two double beds and four single beds and one bathroom for our family of two adults and five children. It is certainly not fancy but it is clean. We did not have any real problems.
This is an 100 year old hotel but it is clean and reasonable. The location is the best part!! It is in walking distance of most all of the attractions of DC. The staff was friendly and helpful. The map they had out for free is the best I have seen for the DC area.
The Harrington Hotel has a great location!!! It has a very friendly staff!!! The hotel is old and historic. It grew on me after a few days because of the staff and location -- but I was by myself. The hotel housed a lot of families and tourists so it was quiet every night. For the price is was a good fit
Our family of five recently stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Harrington. On arrival there was a BBQ contest happening and the road in front of the Hotel was blocked off. It was a little hectic but we managed. That is certainly not the hotels fault as several roads were closed for the event. The rooms were a good size for our family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Can't beat the great location and price. Our room was clean and comfortable. It helped to have designated elevators for upper and lower floors.
