The buffet has dwindled to half what they used to offer and they now charge extra for crab legs. We won't be returning.
My husband and I had the worst experience last weekend. We reserved a room ahead of time for my high school reunion and when we checked in we were offered a smoking 2 queen room, which is not what we booked. The manager was less than helpful and had a terrible attitude. She did nothing to assist us, and would only issue a partial refund. I have stayed at the Hard Rock before and it was great. The first thing that hits you when you walk in the door is the heavy smoke smell. It is very overwhelming. Even in the restaurants! The only place you do not smell smoke is in your room. We booked the platinum suite with a gulf view and I was very disappointed. It was a lot smaller than the pictures made it look, and the view was a combo of the gulf and a parking lot. Only in for the night. Courtney at the reception desk made sure we had an exceptional room! We enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you Hard Rock.
Disappointed! No more free birthday buffet - not coming back
5 nights, 6 days just wasn't enough time. We didn't want to leave!! The staff was incredible and the accommodations just as much. Can't wait to get back. Fingers crossed for October
