You will not be disappointed if you book to stay her as it is one of the best cheapish hotels in Oxford. Located 3 miles from the city centre. Next to the football stadium with restaurants close by - the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. Staff were superb - friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Provided us the an ice bucket and plates for celebration drinks and cake on our arrival. Switched our 3 rooms so we were all near each other and each room had a double bed. Attentive hotel with highly efficient and friendly reception staff. Immaculately clean in all common areas and gym as seen in photos. Amazing butterfly garden with Red Admirals and others as well as song birds as pretty as a royal palace. Large cafe in downstairs reception area incl abundant seating and areas for laptop use. Not too busy which means it is a quiet place to work or study throughout the day. Worth visiting for the cafe and butterfly garden alone.
