History Established in 1999. Opening in Jan 1999 The owner took a building built by J. Paul Getty and A.K.Warren who started Gypsy Oil Company and was one the biggest oil companies of its time. Thus the name Gypsy , after a burlesque dancer of the day Gypsy Rose Lee . The 'Irish American' (with a shot of caramel) is hands down the best cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. Ever. I will forever return to the Gypsy Coffee House.
