History Established in 1999. Opening in Jan 1999 The owner took a building built by J. Paul Getty and A.K.Warren who started Gypsy Oil Company and was one the biggest oil companies of its time. Thus the name Gypsy , after a burlesque dancer of the day Gypsy Rose Lee . Owner is A$$. Hired my kid to play a live set there. When he mic'd up the owner got pissed because he thought it was an acoustical set (it was an electric acoustic guitar and one mic for singing). SO he goes and chews out my wife. NOT me. Not the kid even. He opted to get tough with the woman. I wouldn't give them a faded penny I found in a toilet.
