History Established in 1999. Opening in Jan 1999 The owner took a building built by J. Paul Getty and A.K.Warren who started Gypsy Oil Company and was one the biggest oil companies of its time. Thus the name Gypsy , after a burlesque dancer of the day Gypsy Rose Lee . Wanted to redo my Review here bc a 5 star rating simply isn't enough. This coffeehouse has been such an amazing place to go to after long days at work, meeting with friends, playing the open mics, and just simply going to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee. The staff here have been so kind and accommodating to all my tea and coffee needs, and the people who come here have become terrific friends that I'm glad to have in my life. No decaf at all, they dont even buy it!! The latte I had to get was good but they didn't offer any sort of discount to be empathetic. I am on a 6 hour drive to St Louis and I turned around and came back here because I passed it, waited for them to open only to learn they DON'T have it. Ugh. It's not the caffeine I'm addicted to it the art of good coffee!

Hello Mary, I'm sorry to hear that your experience wasn't %100, we have been working to get decaf in our coffeehouse but our current roaster doesn't carry it. Our barista did however give you %10 discount to your latté in the hopes that this would help, we will work to resolve this issue so you and others can enjoy non caffeinated coffee here. Namaste

The coffee was great but the customer service was horrible. The service was was nearly downright rude. I hope this is something that will be corrected to keep customers coming back.
