We have been dinning at the Grist Mill since the 70’s. This was before any expansions, will wait for Old Riverside just for the view.
Steaks were cooked perfect...We go there often great Dinner.
Never ever disappoints! I can never go to Gruene without eating here. The food is fantastic, Great service, Amazing Ambiance, cant really think of one negative thing or even a suggestion. I have had the fish and my new favorite are the baby back ribs. Oh and the Onion Rings are the best on the planet! I have been to 100% exclusive BBQ restaurants, many voted in the top 10 and would rank the ribs here in the top 3 anywhere in Texas. Been going for many many years!!!
It's been a while since our family of 6 went to the Grist Mill but we loved it ! A pretty long wait to be seated but you should expect that . We always order the appetizer- spinach artichoke dip and it was the best we ever had . I got a great chicken fried steak and it to one one of the best I've had !
Service was fantastic! Food was great. Got lost leaving the place. It’s huge!!!
I had the bacon wrapped pepper filet, it was so tasty and tender, with buttery mashed potatoes covered in white gravy and one of the best coleslaw salads I've ever had, there were tiny slivers of jalapeno in it! In addition to the yummy food we had a very attentive waiter named Michael who was spot on with service and a very welcoming attitude ! We will definately be going back!
