The best onion rings, fried catfish and chicken fried steak! The staff is super and great service and ambience! We got to sit by the fire place- awesome.

Server Matthew was excellent, patient and very helpful. The Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken were excellent. The Mashed potatoes were very good too! The Onion Rings were huge and very tasty. Overall all the meal and atmosphere were fantastic!

Great staff, great service, great food & drink, great views. This place is great! It is HUGE!!! Yet they manage flow and customer satisfaction well. Most of the staff are TSU students. A must if you are anywhere near New Braunfels.....head over to Gruene. I won't regret it. Perfect restaurant for casual, formal, date night, or large parties. Great family fun. Plenty of undoor and outdoor seating.
