I love their food and the atmosphere is very family oriented. I will go back ant chance I'm back to San Antonio.
Enjoyed my lunch and my friends sat and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere. Great weather and amazing food. Onion rings are a must!!
Great food and great service! Don’t order the Texas portion of onion rings unless you’ve got a huge group, lol.
The back terrace at the Gristmill is just the best place to spend a Spring afternoon or evening in Texas. Its an absolute must. Bring friends, get a jug of Sangria, stuff yourself full of catfish, which is my go to favorite, or any of the other casual dining treats on the menu. Just relax and enjoy the sunshine on the banks of the Guadeloupe. Make it an annual pilgrimage. This place is always a treasure...!!
We Love this beautiful restaurant. The food is good, the service is great and you can’t beat the scenery. It’s a must stop for us any time we visit Gruene.
The atmosphere, food, and service is excellent! We have been here several times and keep returning. I highly recommend this unique experience to all of you.
I so dislike onions but this is one of the best of the few places that I’ll eat their onion rings! This rates as my #1! I look forward to this every time I go to Gruene. It is awesomely beyond delicious. No oniony smell or taste😊.
Too many people, but it was worth waiting for. Ask for the half ribs, they're not on the menu because it's only for people who know them
