The Gristmill was an amazing place to have dinner. We were seated near an open air window with a beautiful view and across from the cozy fireplace with a warm fire--so the atmosphere was unmatched! Camille, our waitress, was attentive and did a great job! The onion rings, salad, dressing, veggies were all delicious & the baby back ribs fell off the bone & melted in your mouth. The lights on the grounds were spectacular & it all made for a beautiful evening! Kudos!!!

The Best Restaurant Ever!!! Food is excellent and Prices Super Good! My husband and I drove almost 2 hours to come to the Restaurant, this is our third time eating there and We Love it, This time was our 38 Aniversary and they give us a dessert for free, very sweet of, and the Waitress it was a very sweet young student that treat us very nice, Love the Place Very Good✨❣️
My son ordered the ribs. Minutes later the waiter says sorry but they sold out. Then the table behind US orders the same and the waiter leaves and comes back with appetizers and says I got the last two. So I called our waiter over and told him what we had heard so he brings over the manager. She says to him oh you should of come to me I knew we still had more. What a beautiful scenic venue. Service from Taylor was exceptional and made a very special birthday that much more special!! It was a chilly day but we sat by the fireplace and had a great lunch. Food was great and surprisingly affordable.
This restaurant is my absolute favorite restaurant in New Braunfels. The steaks are delicious and the one time we had gotten a steak that was well done instead of medium they instantly fixed the mistake. My husband loves the homemade fries while I prefer their coleslaw and the potato salad. The garden salads they serve with their steaks are also delicious. Great food and service and AMAZING setting for a holiday meal with family.
Our server, Cooper, was AMAZING to us tonight. We were on the 3rd level of the restaurant and my kids had plenty of questions about the mill and I about the area. Cooper had never ending answers and superb service. Thank you, Cooper, from the Souter Family from Dallas.
