I've been with griddy for almost a year! Best electricity provider I've ever used! I love the transparency and openness and the best prices! Highly recommend!
I have really enjoyed using Griddy. We did have a prettt rough month last August due to some crazy price spikes, but we learned a lot from it did figured out how to keep our costs and usage down. Overall, I feel like my family has saved money and become a little more conscious about how we use our electricity. Win-win!
I love that I can instantly see all of my account information and the current rate on the Griddy app. We are saving with Griddy compared to our previous provider
Overall, I have saved $ using Griddy (other than August & September 2019 when I paid 3x my normal rate). My household uses close to 3k kwh each month so if rates are good they are really really good. On the other hand, if they are high, I feel it!

Griddy is great for me as a consumer. The app is excellent. The tools for moderating energy consumption are great and I love being able to see real time information on cost.
Our first month we racked up over a 200 bill in less than 2 weeks (moved in half way through the month) we weren't even there for most of it! It was crazy! Ever since it's been getting better. I heard everybody had an outrageous month so we stuck with it to see if it would get better. I like the app. I would give griddy 3/5 stars.
RecommendedIt has lowered my electric bill significantly! Also, I love the pay-as-you-go not having to deal with a electric bill at the end of every month
These last few cooler months I have paid Texas New Mexico Power more for their delivery charge, than the actual price of the electricity delivered!! A little proactivity during warmer months will save you money and help to avoid price spikes. If you live in North Texas you have to give Griddy a try. There's so contracts so if not for you, you can switch out no problem.
