Very disappointed with the airport. First the check in needs attendants at the kiosk to help the flow of self check ins. Airport opened at 4:00 flight left at 5:40...without us. Security is unfriendly, slow and have no empathy, thus causing us to miss our flight along with 12 others. Even with several requests for assistance we got no help. Second, Several security guards (like 10 -15) gabbing and standing around near scanners when they could be assisting the flow of people to keep it going. I have arrived here twice and both times, my luggage was damaged. I have never had these issues at any other airport.
I have to ask. Why is it maintenance can plow the sidewalks between the weekly lot and across the access road all the way to the Brooks Ave yet you can't clear a 4' path to the yellow parking lot on the other side of the access road? Seems to me you are making sure those that park across the street for $3.00 day can walk safely yet not those customers that park on site? Makes little sense to me...or I'm sure the others that trudge thru snow to get to our car or a paved street and sidewalk to walk on...
Parked our Cadillac Escalade in the ROC airport parking garage for 10 days - had over $3,024 in rims and tires stolen! The vehicle sat on a block and ground for over a week and parking garage still made us pay full price. Absolutely no sympathy or any type of restitution or discount offered. BEWARE - garage is not at all secure and they DO NOT CARE!!!
15 degrees outside and the heat isn’t working in this place! People are bundled up in here! One thing after another at this airport!!!!
