RecommendedGreater Rochester Airport is the perfect size airport. Easy to get to gates and the people there are extremely nice. Only one thing I wish was they had nonstop flights to Charleston SC. They have nonstop flights to Charottle NC and Georgia but not Charleston. Hope someday this will change!
Why not consider having a TSA pre check lane at 10 a.m.?

TSA pre-check should always be open. In reality, it's open probably half the time I come through. Glad they expanded the security area and don't staff it properly. Also, luggage comes through to claim area slower than just about every airport I've visited.
Keep spending money on useless facelifts to a nearly new airport. The amount of money being spent on visual garbage that isn’t needed is plain stupid. How about cleaning up the nasty jetways that we always have to wait on because of the status of their condition or how about more people to handle the bathrooms. At 9:30am they look like they’ve not been cleaned in days!!!! Disgusting. We don’t need some stupid awning over the road, how about hygiene and functionality????

As a business traveler, ROC Airport is my second home. I enjoy the small lines and usually breeze through security. While the construction is inconvenient right now, I cannot wait for the finished product. The one thing I miss is the McDonalds, I used to get cheap breakfast and watch the planes come and go. I worry that the airport is trying to be a bit to high class with their food options... I don’t need a $20 breakfast/lunch before heading to a hub airport.
