It has always been straightforward and convenient, but the recent extensive upgrades have made it also as pleasant as a commercial airport can be, adding visual cues about gate status and improving both the security access and the baggage claim egress. Good food, entertainment, and relaxation options while you wait for your flight. They still park new cars in there for advertising though 😂.
It's been a while since I've been back since the construction started but they've done a great job renovating. So much more comfortable and relaxing. As most know travel days can be stressful, anything to reduce stress is a bonus.
Absolutely the worst airport for baggage claim. Have to wait sometimes more than 45 minutes to get your checked bag. After spending $80 million to upgrade this dump one would think they would have handled this. Totally disgusted.
