I will not be purchasing anything from you again. You should seriously speak to your manager. Poor decision! The couple who were rude to the young man are at fault....none of their business what the young man did for the officer. The management should be praising the young man for what he did...I hope this incident travels around social media....your establishment doesn't deserve any business.

Great American Cookie Company has lost my business for good. A young male employee was threatened with violence and verbally assaulted because he bought (with his own money) a cookie for a police officer. Then the upper management call him in to fire him?! The young man did nothing wrong here. Management caved to societal thugs and suspended this young man for absolutely no reason at all. I hope others will follow suit and boycott your store.

If I could rate less than one star, I would. The fact your business would discourage a young employee from showing respect to an officer is mind blowing. You offered him a raise earlier; and then turn on your heels to threaten firing all due to some low earth snowflake feeling entitled to a free cookie. I am not local so you can't lose my business directly; But the corporation did. Your company had the opportunity to defend an employee you should be proud of; but you horribly failed instead. Very disappointed to hear that an employee was disciplined for buying a police officer a Cookie. I've always enjoyed the cookies made by GaCC, but no more. The young man is the son of a long time friend. The character he showed in dealing with an unrealistic customer expectation, verbal assault and nearly physical one as well was outstanding and your company failed this young man on so many levels.

I will never buy another cookie from this company again! No one deserves to be reprimanded for kindness. Police officers do a job that's difficult and thankless, so every now & then it's ok to be kind & say Thank you to them! #backtheblue.

I can not back a company who does not back their employees and much worse a company who did not back the police! All over a freaking cookie. Smdh.
