If I could rate less than one star, I would. The fact your business would discourage a young employee from showing respect to an officer is mind blowing. You offered him a raise earlier; and then turn on your heels to threaten firing all due to some low earth snowflake feeling entitled to a free cookie. I am not local so you can't lose my business directly. But the corporation did. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that your upper management and the local manager chose to write up an employee and suspended him for paying for a brownie for a local police officer with his own money. This employee was threatened by another customer and you didn't try to protect him. It's disgraceful and your executive leadership needs to do some extensive training to franchise owners and managers on how to handle threatening customers and how to protect employees.

This review is based upon the management's decision to give corrective action and suspension to one of its employees without conducting a proper investigation. This is not proper HR procedure and although Texas is an at will employment state this crosses many lines legally and ethically. It shows that this establishment doesn't properly manage itself (either the SM or DM). At the end of the day its employees should be taken care of so they in turn can take care of the customers.
