I hope you never need a Police officer at your establishment. If upper management decided the reprimand for this young man then their job should be reconsidered. Supporting police does NOT make anyone racist nor should a young boy be harassed in the workplace by a patron. That is poor management in your establishment for not keeping your staff protected and then punishing them for "provoking" or whatever your reaction was to it. Piss poor. It's pretty disgusting actually.

Nothing Great nor American about this business - in 4 to 6 months there should be another business occupying that space. The franchise owner has no business being in this kind of business. A Great American Disappointment...

0 stars for you employing a manager who suspended an employee for paying for the cookie ordered by a uniformed police officer, which the employee paid for with his own money. Then the manager suspended the employee!! Seems to me that this manager should be suspended for punishing the kindness shown by the employee!!!

I have 4 children, and literally spend hundreds of dollars a year on your cookies for parties, birthdays, etc. I am very disturbed to see the story about the boy that was disciplined for an act of kindness to a police officer. I personally hope he quits and gets a better job because with your philosophy, you do not deserve employees of his caliber. Please consider removing Great and American from your name because your actions exemplified neither. Your corporation has seen its last done from my family.

As parents of teenage boys we have worked very hard to instill empathy for others and respect for police. Bravo to that teens parents for not only instilling those values but also to the son, who wanted to honor this officer. I truly hope that this company will take a long hard look at this situation and learn from it. It's people like the ones who demanded their cookies be free that highlight what's wrong with so many youth today.
