Nothing great about this store. Nothing American about this store. Just an overpriced addition to most malls used to fill space and overcharge. The cookie cakes at HEB are just as good and you actually get decent service at HEB.
You suspend an employee because he paid for a brownie for a police officer??? Seriously??!!! A couple of idiots standing behind the officer in line wanted free stuff too, and when the employee explained to them he paid for the brownie because it was an on-duty police officer and he did it to show support, they threatened your employee. Maybe you need to lose the "Great American" slogan. We're sick of the freeloading whiney a$$es who, if they dont get their way, will cause a scene just to get what they want! Shame on you Great American Cookies! Such a disappointment after hearing what you did to the employee after the altercation that occurred between him and a customer. Sad it had to result to your horrible actions being blasted on social media for you to step up and do the right thing.

This morning, we became aware via social media of an incident which occurred at our Great American Cookies store at Katy Mills mall this past Sunday. One of our team members in an act of kindness purchase a brownie for a police officer. A guest behind them became upset at the incident. Why in the world would you suspend or or discipline in any way a young employee that used his own money to buy a cookie for a police officer? The unstable person that was standing in line also demanding a free cookie should have been arrested for trying to assault your employee. You want good employees? Try protecting the ones you have.
