We totally agree that further training of the manager is necessary. The manager is new, and did the best that she knew how under a very difficult circumstance. We will ensure that we all learned from this to do better. Our greatest disappointment in all of this is that we let down one of our team members!
I am VERY appalled to read that the "upper manager" suspended a young gentleman who worked at your establishment. Unlike you as the GM who can hide in your office, this police officer has to fear being shot or killed everyday they put on their badge and uniform. I believe the GM all the way down to shift managers need to be replaced. Keep this in mind.... next time you get robbed or have an issue, call a crackhead because with your actions you don't deserve to have law enforcement cover your back!

Suspension for an employee buying an officer a cookie? Really? The family who verbally assaulted him and threatened physical violence should be banned from that mall. Poor judgement on your part GACC - never again will I buy anything from you. What is this world coming to when an employee can be attacked and management does nothing? Shame on you.

This morning, we became aware via social media of an incident which occurred at our Great American Cookies store at Katy Mills mall this past Sunday. One of our team members in an act of kindness purchase a brownie for a police officer. A guest behind them became upset at the incident.
