Very disappointed to hear that this happened to someone who did nothing but show kindness. If this is accurate....I will make sure all my friends and family know and share exactly what kind of business you run. I will be making phone calls to corporate as well.
I will NEVER shop here again and I will make sure everyone I know does the same. I was born and raised in Katy so I know a lot of people. This place should be ashamed of itself!!!

This morning, we became aware via social media of an incident which occurred at our Great American Cookies store at Katy Mills mall this past Sunday. One of our team members in an act of kindness purchase a brownie for a police officer. A guest behind them became upset at the incident. Ridiculous! It doesn't even matter what your view on police is. The kid did a nice thing and should have been commended not condemned! But I guess you guys have a lot of faith in mall security and won't be needing any police to show up for any reason!
It is a disgrace you fired an employee who paid for a police officers cookie! Lost my business
All the managers at this location should be fired for their poor handling of the employee that paid for a police officers order. The employee did something very nice and then was punished for it. Shame on all the management at this location.
