Extremely disappointing experience at GBS Stratford. Students were told that anyone achieving 100% attendance would receive a £500 reward. I met the criteria, yet never received the payment. Despite contacting multiple departments, no one was able to provide an explanation or resolve the issue. The student facilities are also very poor. Considering students pay tuition fees through student loans, it is shocking that there is no proper canteen or social space just 2 vending machines. Staff at GPS were very welcoming VERY very understanding with things I said to them. Very helpful with a student finance form always kept in contact so yes everyone was nice thank you.
From the first week it feels as though this place is focused on getting their funding instead of supporting students. They are refusing to send relevant information to the student finance company until two weeks so that it ensures they get paid, however this puts an unfair burden of stress and financial strain on students to be travelling and living.
