The Er was pretty fast. All the nurses were super nice and attentive. Everyone one of them took turns pokin fun at my dad which was great. The chairs in room 43 in the er were not comfortable and my gown had no strings but i made due and i am on the mend.
The care that I received during a recent surgery was outstanding.The Doctors and Nurses explained everything and put my mind at ease
My grandson(15 months old) had to have minor surgery. After surgery, he was taken to recovery and his mom was called back to be with him. While I was in the surgical waiting room, a dog, on a leash, was brought in and walked around the entire area. Un fortunately, I am allergic to pet hair and I immediately started coughing and sneezing and my eyes were watering. Had to bring my 19 year old son into ER for hernia pain! The staff was great!!! Great hospital and feel safe environment! Only draw back was elevators broke and long walks too get an ultra sound! Next time mom needs a wheel chair too! �
Well, I brought my adult son in the other evening. He had gone to Mc Laren 4 days earlier where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and flu type b-he is also a life long STEROID DEPENDENT ASTHMATIC! He was given steroids and antibiotics and sent home-even though my son was afraid he wouldn't make it back to the hospital in time if he had to-still discharged. Went 4 days till his breathing was so bad he couldn't last 2 hrs on a breathing treatment. His pulmonologist goes to Genesy...Continue Reading
The facility was clean, the staff was friendly and the service was quick.
I had to bring my 5 year old son into the ER tonight to receive stitches behind his ear. Most everyone dreads going to the ER late at night for fear of long wait times before being seen, but that was not the case for us. We waited 5 minutes in the waiting room, at most, before being called back. Each person who had contact with my son was so kind and cheerful and helped make his fears go away. My husband had back surgery the nurses were rude treat him like crap he never got his medication
I am currently an inpatient at Genesis. My roommate is 90+ years old. I am impressed by the way the whole staff ( especially the nurses and aides ) treat, care for, and share their caring attitudes for him. This shows the respect that our elders are given by your staff. Keep up the great work.
