I took my traverse into the service department because it was making an annoying noise when I started it. They told me it was the cd player and nothing to worry about. They also said they performed a complimentary check on the vehicle and wanted 2500 to fix things that had never given me any trouble. The people were nice when I bought my used vehicle, but as soon as I drove it off the lot- the service ended. In June, 2016, I purchased a 2007 Nissan Murano. Before I even left the dealership, the glue they used to attach the foot rest came off- not really a big deal. Within a week after purchase, the check engine light came on, and the brakes started squealing. This is the best Chevrolet service department. We went to 3 service departments to fix the same issue but they couldn't. Came here and it was fixed and fixed properly the first time. It's a shame we didn't buy our car through them. I recommend them to everyone. When I talk about my lemon and I do mean a lemon of a car I do follow up with a praise about Gene Messer Chevrolet. It's hard to sell me a new truck. I enjoy walking out on a salesman on his first lie. Anyway at Messer they sold me a truck and my wife loves driving it. But I do really still like my old truck so we are happy.
