Terrible customer service and half dead plants. I purchased two arabica coffee plants on January 1. I was a little surprised by the cost and shipping total but decided to buy the plants anyway, one as a gift and one for myself. They shipped on January 5 which made me hopeful considering I had read many reviews that stated their items never shipped. The plants arrived on January 12 in pretty rough shape. This is the second time I have ordered from Garden Goods, and again I am very satisfied. This time I ordered 12 Skip Cherry Laurel plants in 1 gal containers, which came in two separate boxes.. ALL of them arrived in excellent condition. I couldn't be happier. I planted these in early November, and now in mid December they all look fantastic. I understand that this company has made big changes to their shipping department and I feel lucky to have chosen Garden Goods Direct for my purchase. I bought a Christmas cactus which was secured in the box to a cardboard crosspiece that all but eliminated movement in the carton. It also included a heat pack to prevent frigid temperatures from harming the plant. Even though truck deliveries often bang up packages, my plant arrived healthy and beautifully full of buds. This service was great. We received our tress in perfect condition and in the best packaged box we have seen. Any questions we had were answered within 24 hours or less. Easy web site and lots of great information. I highly recommend this company for your garden goods.
I ordered 4 plants total from Garden Goods Direct. 2 Tater Tot Arborvitae Shrubs and 2 Little Henry Itea Shrubs. Each arrived with exceptional packaging. My plants were moist and beautiful when the arrived. I was really pleased to find a nursery not only online, but here in Maryland. I live in Baltimore so everything got to me quickly. We received our Euonymous Green Spire plant today & we are super pleased. We appreciate the beautiful bush & how healthy the plant is. Also, you did a great job of packing the plant appropriately to withstand the shipping. There were several holes in the box - so the plant survived the beating by UPS! I have purchased twice from Garden Goods Direct and couldn't be happier! Their product selection is fantastic, their prices quite reasonable and their packaging the best! ***totally ignored the directional arrows and the "Do not Drop" warning, delivering the pkgs on their sides AND dropping them none too gently on my porch. Just received my six Rainbow Leucothoe shrubs (2 gallon size). This was the only company I could find that was selling them so I bit the bullet and decided to order despute seeing some poor reviews. I am so glad that I went ahead and ordered! The plants arrived extremely fast and were in wonderful condition. Super healthy and they were packaged extremely well. I would definitely do business with them again. ?????
