Horrible service! I was mailed the wrong plant. It has been a month with no communication or response to my email or calls. Spent over $100 for a tree and was mailed a small house plant. Do not order from here.

Although we strive for perfection with every order, sometimes mistakes can happen. Should a customer receive the wrong item or be unhappy with their purchase for any reason we always ask for pictures of what was received in order to ensure our quality standards were in place during shipping. Unfortunately if a customer refuses to provide photos we are unable to determine the root of the problem.
Awful customer service. They do not respond phone calls or emails. No receipt sent no follow up. Bottom line horrible company yo deal with.

We strive to reply to all messages within 48-72 hours. Once an order is placed via our website or over the phone a follow up message is automatically sent to the email address provided by the customer at the time of checkout, containing order details and a link to track the order status.
Do not be fooled by the competitive pricing. The actual (delivered) plant material is in no way consistent with what is advertised at point of purchase. In my case, I thought I was purchasing established 3-4' ht. Taxus shrubs based on the website pictures and the cost of each plant. What i received were potted wisps. Although conveniently delivered to my doorstep, I regret not just purchasing from my local nursery. For an additional $12/plant, I would have had what was I thought I was getting from Garden Goods Direct.

Per our terms and conditions, "Customer agrees, by accepting these terms and conditions, which the images used on www.gardengoodsdirect.com product pages, are representative of what the product they purchased will look like when it reaches the age of maturity, and is not what they will be receiving with their order." All photos on our website are taken of established landscape plants not plants in pots.
I ordered two wedding gown hydrangeas and another smaller bush on April 16th, totaling almost $200 . I received notification that the smaller bush was shipped a few days later. This companies website states shipping takes 5-7 business days. Within that time frame the hydrangeas never shipped. The small bush arrived and it was mediocre at best. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to my purchase and if I could I would also give a 0 star rating. In my opinion, this company does false advertising. They could not ship over 1/2 my order. Thank goodness they gave me back a partial refund (and I say partial because my order originally would have been free shipping) but because they could not ship to my location they decided to charge me a shipping fee even after I complained about it. Zero stars actually. I ordered and paid for 9 plants for over $500. They have held my money for over 70 days, after telling me they could not ship to California, 5 days after the scheduled ship date. (I had to contact them) I had paid the Cal Ag charge up front, so that could not be the problem. Cal Ag told me they were not having a problem with shipments from Maryland. To whom it may concern, When placing this order Ms. C*** requested a delayed ship date, which at the time we were able to arrange. Recent restrictions stemming from the Covid-19 response, however, have altered our ability to proceed with Ms. C***’s order. They do not advertise that they ship dormant plants. It's in the terms but they should be more up front about shipping conditions when you purchase. I requested a refund and was denied. I had to purchase active plants from another vendor. Waste of money!
ZERO Stars. Plant arrived dead and disconnected from their roots. Company refused to do anything to alleviate the problem - no refund, no exchange, nothing. Don't buy from here. A complete waste of money.
I wish I could leave zero stars. I requested to cancel my order and was quickly informed that I would receive a refund within 7 business days. 3 weeks later, I have not received my refund and they only respond to about 1 in 3 or 4 emails. I did a little research and all were positive about the plants they received. I should have looked further into the company because it seems like a scam.
