The juniper trees came securely packaged and absolutely no damage to any of the four trees we ordered. The trees were all healthy and it appeared they had not been grown in the pots forever like I often see at garden centers.
I would highly recommend Woodies if you buy plants online. The packaging is superb and all my plants arrived in beautiful condition with no soil spill. I am all the way on the west coast so at first I was a little hesitant. Nothing to worry about. The plants are all thriving. I have purchased 3 so far.

My experience with Garden Goods Direct was great! I got an email notification a Cherokee Chief dogwood I wanted was back in stock. This notification is a good service, as I'd given up hope of getting one in time for fall planting. On 10/18 I ordered a 5 gal Cherokee Chief dogwood and a 2 gal Swamp Milkweed. My shrub arrived in great condition, very healthy and well packed. It is now thriving.
Have ordered twice from Garden Goods Direct and I am always hesitant to purchase live plants online. However these plants (ornamental grasses and butterfly bush) arrived very quickly and in great shape! Will continue to purchase from them in the future.
