Anya helped me out today with an issue regarding my monitor not connecting after a recent update. She discovered that the update to the graphics software made the laptop not read the hdmi port. She was able to download and install a newer Dell graphics software and solved the issue. She was really courteous, friendly and easy to understand. I would highly recommend Anya and Friendly Computers for your computer problems.
Just want to praise Anya. She is a marvelous Computer technician at the North Spokane store on Francis. She was able to retrieve nearly all my photos and some other valuable files off my corrupted hard drive of a nearly 12 year old IMAC. She was patient and performed a miracle saving my information onto an external drive! Now I will always have timemachine backup working! Thank you Anya!
Purchased a new laptop from a big box store to use for my photography. When they came to set it up and transfer my photos, they promptly lost the majority of them. Trying to get them to solve the problem finally came down they did not have a enough time to fix it and that is with a service agreement. My Dell laptop WiFi stopped working, said it was turned off. Went into settings in Windows 10 and tried to turn WiFi on. Tried warm boot, cold boot, Airplane mode on and off all without joy. Was convinced I had a hardware problem. Took it in to the North Spokane store where Anya fixed it. What a young lady, knowledgeable and easy to talk to!
They are amazing. I took my Mac laptop into them because it was slow. In 2 days they fixed me up with more ram and a faster hard drive. All of this after the Apple store downtown said they couldn't help me.I couldn't be more happy with how fast it is now.When they said it would be fast, they were not kidding. I'd send anybody I know to them. Yay Friendly Computers!!!
Both my wife and I needed to replace our computers while having the maximum amount of stored items from the obsolete ones transferred to the new ones. Anya not only explained the process, problems and alternatives succinctly, she successfully completed the task and very satisfactorily has now supplied us with fully operational and much superior new computers. And throughout, she has been a pleasure to deal with.
