I had a very disappointing experience working with Rob Stein just now. From the start, his attitude was condescending and rude when i asked general questions regarding a listing. When I called out his behavior, instead of apologizing or improving, he engaged in unprofessional back-and-forth arguing, which made the whole process unprofessional. Had one phone call with an agent named Robby who was condescending and unhelpful. Update: Regarding your response to my above review— it is interesting to have received this response and a text from Robby within the same 10 minutes. Robby uses your company in his email signature so you may want to take that up with him. Meanwhile I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Today I called because I wanted to schedule a viewing in an apartment in the Bronx. I talked to Rob Stein and as soon as he heard my foreign accent he began to act defensive/rude. I also told him that I was calling on behalf of my mom and he said that he wanted to talk to her but I told him that she doesn’t speak English so he said “I won’t be able to help you”, so I had to tell him that I was calling on my behalf. I would caution doing business with this company. The past reviews are pretty accurate. I had rented through them and experienced poor management practices, blatant lies and subpar conditions. If you’re looking for a company that cares look elsewhere.
