We came here to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. We had so much fun walking around the property and looking at all the exhibits. My grandmother even personally knew the lady that had owned the stamp collection and it absolutely made her day. The food was excellent and the entertainment was great! Would recommend to families looking for something different to experience for sure!

Theresa Thank you for this great review! Especially the part about the post office. The owner of Fort Hays' Mother was a friend of hers also. So glad you came to see us! Happy Trails!
Nice evening, awesome gift shop-not cluttery or junk but real nice, show was ok- just part of song sung only, jokes need work, food was ok -walk through line portioned. Desert? It was ok.
The food was pretty good. At least, worth what we paid. The show was excellent. Great music and very entertaining. Thank you Jeanie! We are glad you came!
My husband and I loved the tour and show. Dave the driver on bus 1411 ( I think) was super, fun, and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed sitting back and letting someone else drive. The musicians for the dinner show are super talented. It was a hand clapping, footing tapping good time. Thank everyone for an enjoyable experience. The young people serving were very courteous.
I loved everything! Even though I couldn’t eat much of the breakfast because it wasn’t really my taste in food, I still think the experience and staff is what really matters. The tour guide, Rory, was very knowledgeable of the area. The band was amazing! The dinner had more food that I love and that was all amazing! The place they took us for lunch in Custer State Park had a super buffet! I also greatly appreciated the lighting part of the concert show. It was thought out and planned well. I bet hardly anyone compliments on ... read more

Thank you Tina for this great post. 'That guy' is the founder and owner of Fort Hays and tells a story like no other! He loves teaching people about rope making, especially the children! We are so glad you came to see us!
